KSh 1,200.00

Description

By Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace

Prepared by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace at the request of the Pope, with its Presentation dated 2 April 2004, the Compendium offers what it calls a concise but complete overview of the Church’s social teaching, set out systematically and intended as an instrument for moral and pastoral discernment. It is addressed first to bishops, then to priests, religious, formators and the lay faithful, and also invites members of other Churches and religions and all people of good will to read it. Part One covers God’s plan of love, the human person and the principles of social doctrine; Part Two treats the family, work, economic life, political and international community, the environment and peace; Part Three concerns social doctrine and ecclesial action.
