Taking its title from St Francis of Assisi’s words, it reflects on fraternity and social friendship, drawing on St Francis’s visit to Sultan Malik-el-Kamil and on the 2019 Abu Dhabi document on human fraternity signed with Grand Imam Ahmad Al-Tayyeb. Written as the Covid-19 pandemic exposed what the Pope calls our false securities and the poor cooperation between nations, it urges humanity to dream as a single human family grounded in the dignity of every person.
